u can actually, u just select uniloc,not steam. if u choose uniloc, then it will install fm 09 first, so you could follow the instruction to crack the game given by Ecoli.Cheers

You don’t need the product key. you will get 2 installation methods.
1)Steam
2)Uniloc
If you select Steam, it will ask for Product key before the game gets installed. meaning it will download the whole game from the Steam site.
Select Option 2, Uniloc, it wont ask for product key and will install the game straight. after installation use the crack. Enjoy

Like i mentioned above, i’me having the file not found problem.
I think it has something to do with vista and the permission thing. Since it’s going to overwrite and fix files in the C:\, vista is blocking it from doing that.
Could i be right? Any solutions???

you are right mate, there is a vista protection, but i found out how to do it anyway. You just need to click on the icon fm.exe, properties, security and thick everything. It will work than

You are right about the vista problem. the work-around is so stupid simple though. Just right click on the crack and select run as admin. It whould work fine from there.

Well, running the crack as an admin worked for me.
If you’re running Vista I suggest the following:
1. Start the setup
2. When it asks what type of activation, choose UNILOC
3. When the game is done installing, click cancel.
4. Update the game using the update patch v. 9.1.0
5. after the update is done, apply the crack. To do this, right click the fm91_t1 crack, select run as administrator, select the fm.exe file in the C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009 folder and apply.
That should do it. Hope that helps some of you out!

Guys everything is going ok until the time that i am ready to pick a team.When i choose “new user” it throws me out in windows and quits game.and when i choose “take control” (of a team) makes nothing.

Hi people, I found solution.It is quite simple.Go to foldet where you installed a game, then click on fm.exe->properties->seccurity and for all users you allow everything.Then click on fm91_t1.exe and find a path to fm.exe, then click start.It is working:)
ok people i dont know why people are having trouble, you dont need the key
1. Install via unliloc not steam
2. choose advanced and choose so that the game does not start up
3. after installation run the patch
4. after patch has been applied copy the fm91_t1 to the video game directory (sports interactive folder) in the program files
5. run the fm91_t1 and crack the game (vista users right click and run as admin)
6 play
ive done this method many times and works. so please stop asking for the serial as there isnt one the patch and crack makes it so you dont need it

i was wondering if anyone could help me, just before i am about to install the game.. just as it comes onto the install screen.. my computer crashes.. without fail everytime. i think my laptop is powerful enough.. im really not sure what is going on.. before the install it changes my colour display to the lower one…

guys, i’ve instaleed the game correctly, i run it, i get to choose database size and playable leagues and it loads everything, but as soon as i wanna add manager it crashes and it goes to windows desktop.
